“I’m a former graduate from NLH academy… This program absolutely changed my life and my perspective of how I should live a healthy and Christian like life. Teen Challenged for sure pushed me to change myself for the glory of God aswell as learning new things and treating and talking respectfully. It for sure was a struggle but without Teen Challenge. I would definitely not be where I’m at today. Absolutely a great place with great schooling, counselors and a lot of assistance.”

“New Lifehouse Academy is a wonderful, faith based organization. My child went here, and it literally, saved her life. My daughter has now graduated and is a well functioning young lady. The staff and administration are caring and devoted to changing and reshaping the lives of these young boys and girls. Teaching them, to put God first in their lives, and respecting themselves and others. If you have a teenage child that is struggling with addiction, or another issue, this is a safe and loving place for them to be.I am forever grateful to God and New Lifehouse Academy and the Teen Challenge programs for all they did for my child and so many others.”

“New Lifehouse truly did for our 16 year old daughter what it’s name implies; she was given a new life. Her old life was full of depression, insecurity and sadness. After completing the program in 14 months, she was reconciled with our family and is now full of hope, joy and healthy coping skills. She has learned to see herself as God sees her. Several months after finishing the program, she is a walking testimony to the transformation Teen Challenge can bring. In fact, she is so grateful for her new life that she has asked me to encourage some of her struggling friends’ moms to send them to the program so they can get the help they need! If you are feeling the desperation of not knowing how to help your teenager and are desperate for a lasting change for them, I cannot recommend New Lifehouse enough.”

“Teen Challenge was the third out of home placement for our daughter, who struggled for years with rage from Reactive Attachment Disorder. After two failed placements and numerous unsuccessful methods, therapies and medications, our main goal was to keep her safe, at least until age 18. After a nationwide search with phone interviews we were drawn to Teen Challenge of Oklahoma. We believed that their program, which is based on the love and the transforming power of God, was her best hope. In fact, it seemed to be our only hope. For the first six months we saw little change and had mostly hostile interactions with our daughter. We responded by continuing to pray. By the seventh month we began to see a dramatic change, and we continue to be amazed by how God is healing and transforming our daughter’s heart. She has grown to love God, love the Teen Challenge program, and wants to stay on longer to finish high school and the program. We have been inspired and humbled by the deep faith and selfless dedication of the staff. They provide a lot of structure with loving discipline, and we have found that they do exactly what they say they will do. Truly, Teen Challenge changed our daughter’s life forever and we will always be grateful for their team. With God’s guidance and power, they succeeded when others did not. “The experience has been enormously beneficial to our daughter.We enjoyed the relationships we made working with staff. Staff endeared themselves not only because of the work they do, but because of the sacrifice and personal investment that they make themselves. Not only did this experience encourage discipline in the little things, but also availed to incredible experiences in mission opportunities. When told to stay the course, take their advice. They know what they are doing. “We were worn out, frustrated, discouraged and mostly afraid for our daughter’s future. We had exhausted all of the resources we had locally and didn’t know how to keep her safe. It was a very difficult decision for us to send her away, but New Lifehouse provided us with hope. It was a safe place with structure where she was able to mature away from the negative social pressures of her life at home, away from smart phones and social media, away from destructive habits of lying and rebellion. She could decide who she wanted to be; would she follow the world and its idols, or would she follow God? NLH provided discipleship and gave her tools to help make better choices. It was definitely a challenging experience for all of us, and it was not ever easy for our daughter, but we trusted God with the outcome. Additionally, she was able to finish high school a year early with nine college credits. She is now in her second semester of college and doing well. We are so proud of her and excited about her future. Even better, SHE is excited about her future! We are exceedingly grateful to New Lifehouse for their part in her growth and change.”

I so appreciate the staff who are God centered, and prayerful in how they come alongside each girl individually. The program isn’t cookie cutter, it’s very much personalized for individual struggles or obstacles. She has experienced incredible growth, healing and is so much stronger as a person.
