This has been demonstrated to be the background in which teenagers can achieve the greatest measure of success. If your daughter is dealing with depression, anxiety, lack of self-confidence, trauma, or substance abuse problems, our program’s staff is able to address these problems and help them to heal.    Providing comfortable and relaxed environment is necessary for helpful therapy. If girls do not feel at-home and secure, they are not as willing to be as open as they need to be. Our campus and counselors will treat the root issues that are resulting in unhealthy and problematic behaviors.

Girls struggling in school can also find emotional and behavioral recovery with proper support and mentoring.

The scholastic program offered at New Lifehouse Academy is especially built with difficult teens in mind. We acknowledge that dysfunctional teens usually have lagged behind in school and are in need of specific academic assistance. They need to get caught up and back on track. Although academic excellence is, of course, the ideal, this program is structured to cope with the unique emotional and behavioral needs of troubled teenagers.     For troubled girls, counseling is essential to heal dysfunctional thought cycles that are at the root of many of the issues teens are experiencing. Just focusing on surface issues like behavior and school will not be enough in terms of creating a real, lasting change in these teenagers. In fact, after the emotional and spiritual elements of these teenager’s problems are addressed, they often straighten out in other areas, like academics and behavior. Moreover, they need plenty of time to practice their new thinking, in a place where their missteps are pointed out.

Drug abuse in teenagers in Jacksonville, Arkansas can be a overwhelming problem. For non-addictive behaviors, we can help!

Girls experimenting with substance abuse or who are undergoing emotional issues will commonly avoid physical activities, which are good and appropriate for them. At HLHA, we foster a re-discovery of their innate interest in exercise and the outdoors. Keeping teens physically challenged gains health and confidence, which are essential additions to the counseling students receive.    Teenagers at this facility also learn effective, hands-on work skills. This teaches responsibility and integrity, as well as building self-esteem. The girls are taught to match work and recreation, creating a reliable and healthy work ethic and lifestyle. This carries on into their life after the program, letting them to become viable, productive members of society.    Within NLHA’s supervised and caring program, girls are able to build principles, and discover God. This is the only proven technique for teens to eradicate the selfishness and self-centeredness that causes the majority of their dysfunctional patterns, from addiction to other conduct disorders. Within a healthy structure, and surrounded by good influences, students gain a new, healthy peer group that will hold them accountable and encourage them in their new, moral way of living.
