Through the time-tested approach of Teen Challenge, we help young women begin to rebuild their lives with clarity and purpose. Students learn to recognize the patterns and choices that have held them back, but they are not left there. They are guided toward new ways of thinking, healthier responses, and stronger foundations for the future. Step by step, your daughter can begin to rediscover her worth, develop confidence, and move toward a life marked by growth, stability, and renewed direction.

We believe every student is capable of taking ownership of her actions and her future. While life’s tragedies, traumas, or difficult circumstances may have influenced a girl’s behavior, they do not define her destiny. Regardless of what she has experienced in the past, she can learn to make better, wiser choices moving forward.

Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Ozarks near Grand Lake, our 40-acre campus offers a peaceful, inspiring environment perfect for healing and growth. In addition to our beautiful main campus, we also have access to 900 acres of nearby forest, hills, and streams — ideal for outdoor adventure, leadership activities, and equine therapy.

Academic Achievement and Repair of Past Academic Failure of Troubled Teen Girls

Fully accredited and transferable credits are achieved at at New Lifehouse Academy, in The Cross Christian Academy. We believe that academic achievement is a crucial part of a young woman’s journey to healing and future success. From the very first day, education is given high priority in our life-changing boarding school environment for troubled girls.

The Cross Christian Academy is our fully accredited, year-round private school program. Through this rigorous academic platform, each student receives a personalized education plan tailored to her individual learning needs, strengths, and goals. We continually monitor and assess student progress, providing access to real-time updates and academic evaluations to both students and their families.

The school is accredited by COGNIA, as well as International Christian Accrediting Association and recognized as accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. We are listed as a member of Oklahoma Private School Accrediting Commission. This ensures that the transfer of credits back to your child’s public or private school is without question, no matter what state she came from, and credits are accepted by most colleges and universities.

We are committed to helping each student achieve true mastery in every subject. We believe that full understanding builds lasting knowledge, strengthens academic skills, and creates genuine confidence. Before advancing to new material, students demonstrate their mastery, ensuring a strong foundation for future success. Family Restoration

Another major emphasis of our program is that we work to bring hope and healing to the entire family.

While a student is enrolled here, we also spend time working to restore the environment in the home. At the same time that we teach personal responsibility to teen girls for their own past choices, we are also fully aware that the family environment has a significant impact on teen girls. We strive to give hope and bring restoration to the entire family, not just the student enrolled with us.

Many parents of our teen girls have tried every possible method to help their daughter, without success. Our family program includes elements such as parent coaching, the study of the same materials the student is learning, conferences with parents, time with a parent advocate, and at times, phone calls aimed at restoration.

At New Lifehouse Academy, we want each teen girl to discover the purpose for which God has uniquely designed him or her. For senior students to help find and develop their strengths, we offer advanced leadership training.
